Kee Yong Foo

Mr. Kee Yong Foo is a business development partner with KNK Tax Advisory Services PLT. He has over 11 years of working experience in corporate tax, personal tax, expatriate tax and indirect taxes such as GST and SST. He is also a licensed GST Tax Agent and has successfully handled a variety of direct and indirect tax cases.

Throughout his career, he has successfully undertaken a variety of taxation, accounting and business projects in diverse industries such as construction, manufacturing, services, transport, oil & gas, wholesale, agriculture and retail. In 2013 – 2014, he was instrumental in ensuring the successful outcome for the merger and acquisition of a branch office where he had served for 10 years as its head prior to his current position. As the head of the branch, he was instrumental in overseeing the management of branch office operations, restructuring and business development and its strong period of growth from an initial 10 to more than 500 clients.

In the early part of his career, Mr. Kee honed his skills in financial accounting, auditing and taxation that enabled him to become a trusted and credible accountant and tax representative for his clients and associates. His work ethics, diligence and successful track record earned him multiple speaking engagements. He was invited as a speaker and panellist for numerous GST awareness sessions in 2015 to 2018 that were co-organised by Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD) and Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM).

Known in the accounting profession as a dependable and competent professional, his work ethics and client-focused nature has allowed him to foster strong working relationships with regulators, clients, associates and the business community.

He is a Chartered Accountant (Malaysia) and a member of the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
